The Role
In this role you will be responsible for managing the day‐to‐day operations of a 19‐truck fleet while leading and mentoring a team of approximately 20 transport staff. You will oversee scheduling, compliance, maintenance coordination and safety performance across the operation. This is a hands‐on leadership position suited to an operationally strong manager who is comfortable working alongside the team, delivering training and stepping in when required. You will be expected to assist during critical situations, including operating a forklift or truck where necessary, and provide occasional after‐hours support to drivers.
Duties
* Transport Fleet Manager – Acacia Ridge area
* Manage daily fleet operations, scheduling and driver coordination
* Monitor vehicle maintenance, compliance and safety standards
* Provide hands‐on leadership, training and operational support
* Lead, mentor and develop a team of circa 20 staff
* Report on fleet performance and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
* Current truck licence (minimum Medium Rigid)
* Forklift licence
* Experience managing transport fleets or similar operations
* Willingness to support the team outside standard hours when required
