About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our dynamic team at Richmond Hill Community Preschool Inc. in Richmond Hill, NSW. This is a part-time position being 32 hours per week Monday to Thursday (closed Fridays), offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children in our vibrant community preschool.
What you'll be doing
* Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
* Providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that supports the holistic development of children
* Collaborating with parents and families to support children's learning and wellbeing
* Observing and documenting children's progress, and using this information to inform curriculum planning
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
* Actively participating in professional development opportunities to continuously improve your teaching practice
What we're looking for
* Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education
* Minimum 2 years' experience working as an Early Childhood Teacher in a preschool or long day care setting
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
* Demonstrated understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and ability to design and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate programs
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
* Passion for supporting children's learning, growth, and wellbeing
* Current First Aid certification, including HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting
* Working with Children Check and NSW Teacher Accreditation
