Zoom Recruitment is seeking a seasoned, highly strategic and results-driven State Operations Manager to lead and elevate our Victorian Branch Teams. This is a key leadership role for an experienced professional with a strong background in Labour Hire who has a proven ability to lead and drive operational excellence with a well-established and motivated team. The successful candidate will combine strong leadership, commercial acumen and a passion for client satisfaction, and financial performance. As the State Operations Manager, you will oversee the performance of multiple branches, ensuring the seamless delivery of services to clients whilst maximising revenue growth. You'll lead an already high-performing team, champion innovation, standardization and influence the direction of the business through strategic thinking and impactful decision-making. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will: Lead and optimise branch operations across the state to achieve business growth and exceed various performance KPI targets in accordance to Zoom Recruitment's strategic goals. Enforce National client KPI's to support service excellence and client satisfaction. Monitor key metrics and deliver regular performance reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. Develop and mentor Account Manager's, driving a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement. Support and foster Account Manager-client relationships. Build internal capability and redundancy through mentoring, upskilling, and structured performance management. Oversee recruitment methodologies, client compliance, and candidate onboarding processes, ensuring alignment with national standards. Strengthen client relationships, ensuring service excellence to allow for new business opportunities. Manage financial performance, including budgeting, profitability, and cost control, while ensuring operational efficiency. Ensure state compliance with WHS, IR, legislative and contractual obligations. Champion workplace safety and compliance, ensuring adherence to WHS regulations and fostering a safe environment at client sites. Drive the timely completion and adherence to client compliance, Site Safety Audits and Corrective Safety Actions. To succeed in this challenging, 'hands on' and varied role, you will be able to demonstrate: Extensive leadership experience within the Labour Hire or Recruitment industry, with a proven track record of managing multi-branch operations. Proven ability to prioritise and best manage competing events. 1 st principle thinking. Expertise in driving financial performance through operational efficiency, whilst maintaining exceptional client relationship and satisfaction. Exceptional coaching and mentoring abilities. Strategic mindset with a focus on long-term growth and change management. In-depth knowledge of industry compliance, including WHS and recruitment standards. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 4 - 6 years' experience in a Senior Operations, service delivery leadership role. Qualifications in HR, Business project management or Labour Hire (preferred) Experience in high volume, 360 labour hire and recruitment with strong grasp of workforce operations and client service dynamics.
