Responsibilities
Are you a Mental Health Nurse/Social Worker or Psychologist looking to move and specialise more in Outreach?
Do you have 2-3 years' experience as a sole clinician looking to grow and develop?
Provide after-hours care and follow-up as part of the Suicide Prevention Outreach team (SPOT) to people experiencing or recovering from suicidal distress; work alongside peer workers to deliver recovery-oriented support including crisis response, safety planning, and advocacy.
Deliver face-to-face and telehealth services to Broken Hill and surrounding communities of the Far West LHD.

How To Apply
To be considered for this position, please address the selection criteria thoroughly in your application:
Tertiary qualifications and current registration with AHPRA for Registered Nurses, Psychologists, or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers for Social Workers with at least 2 years experience.
Classifications for appointment are: Psychologist Year 3+, Registered Nurse 3rd Year+, Social Worker Level 1, Year 3+, Welfare Officer Level 1, Year 3+.
Applied understanding of person-centred care, trauma-informed care and recovery, and working with Aboriginal people in a holistic, collaborative and respectful way.
Willingness to work shift work including afterhours and weekends.
Experience in evidence-based treatment techniques and assessment for people experiencing distress in a community setting.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and computer competency.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
