About the Role
We are seeking an experienced OTC Business Manager – South-West WA to take ownership of the commercial development of Abbey's OTC livestock portfolio across the South-West Western Australia territory.
This is a relationship-driven sales role focused on building and strengthening partnerships with independent rural resellers and livestock producers. You will work closely with rural businesses servicing sheep, beef, and mixed farming enterprises across the region.
The role offers genuine territory ownership, allowing you to manage and grow your region while working closely with Abbey's national sales, marketing and technical teams.
Please note: This role is based in regional South-West WA and is not Perth-based.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow relationships with independent rural resellers across the South-West WA territory
* Drive sales growth and market share for Abbey's OTC livestock product portfolio
* Support reseller teams with product knowledge, training and commercial opportunities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within sheep, beef and mixed farming sectors
* Work closely with livestock producers, consultants and industry advisors to build product awareness
* Support the execution of seasonal campaigns, promotions and product launches
* Represent Abbey Animal Health at regional field days, reseller events and industry activities
* Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support business strategy
* Maintain regular territory planning and account management activities
About You
You are a commercially focused agricultural sales professional who understands the importance of strong, long-term relationships within regional communities.
You will bring a practical understanding of livestock production and the independent rural reseller network, along with the ability to work autonomously across a large regional territory.
You will bring:
* Experience in rural merchandise, animal health, livestock nutrition or agricultural sales
* Strong understanding of sheep, beef or mixed farming enterprises
* Proven ability to build trusted relationships with rural businesses and producers
* Confidence managing a regional sales territory independently
* Strong communication and relationship management skills
* A proactive and commercially minded approach to growing sales
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience within rural merchandise, livestock production, animal health or agricultural inputs
* Demonstrated sales or territory management experience within the agricultural sector
* Sound understanding of Australian livestock production systems
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Animal Science, Agribusiness or Business is desirable but not essential
* A current Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel within the territory
