About the Role We are seeking experienced Clinical Nurses for contract roles (4–12 weeks) across rural and remote Queensland. Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership in acute care environments Perform comprehensive assessments, clinical documentation, and medication administration Triage presentations across emergency, medical, and primary care services Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver culturally appropriate, patient-centered care Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and safety standards Requirements Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Minimum 3 years’ experience in an acute care setting Valid Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification Valid Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification Triage qualification or demonstrated equivalent experience Willingness to work across varied rural QLD locations Current driver’s licence and ability to travel as required Highly Desirable Completion of MEC/REC (Managing Emergencies in the Community / Remote Emergency Care) Previous experience in rural, remote, or Indigenous health settings What We Offer Contract lengths: typically 4–12 weeks, with options to extend Competitive pay rates (based on experience and location) Travel, accommodation, and allowances provided for most placements Flexible start dates available throughout the year
