Administration Officer - Office of the CEO

What you'll be doing
- Provide comprehensive administrative and executive support to the Office of the CEO, CEO, Mayor and Councillors.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, travel arrangements, and diary management.
- Assist with governance and compliance administration.
- Support Council meetings through agenda compilation, documentation, and logistical coordination.
- Maintain and manage documentation using Council's records management systems.
- Assist in grant application preparation, audit tracking, and risk management administration.
- Provide cross-functional team support and help coordinate special projects or events.
What we're looking for
- A qualification in business/office administration or equivalent experience.
- At least 2-3 years’ administrative experience, preferably in government or compliance-focused roles.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with attention to detail.
- A qualified, customer-focused approach and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ideally experience with document/content management systems.
- A flexible, collaborative mindset with a proactive attitude to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
