Member Project OfficerLocation: Bundall | Company: Surf Life Saving QueenslandDescriptionAs the Member Project Officer, you'll work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that membership initiatives are delivered smoothly and in alignment with our Membership Strategy.Your role will help bring our projects to life, ensuring our clubs, members, and volunteers thrive in an environment built on SLSQ's values.Job ResponsibilitiesDrive Project Success: assist in the seamless coordination and execution of membership-related projects from start to finish, aligning with strategic goals.Empower Our Clubs: coordinate engaging events, workshops, and webinars to enhance club success, member experience, and community building.Support Member Wellbeing: deliver SLSQ's Member Wellbeing programs, focusing on mental health initiatives.Data & Insights: collect and analyze member data and feedback to improve engagement and program outcomes, staying ahead of trends.Content Creation & Promotion: create and distribute membership materials like newsletters and promotional content.Ensure Project Excellence: monitor progress, identify roadblocks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track, on time, and within budget.Drive Membership Growth: plan and execute member drives, retention campaigns, and initiatives to strengthen the membership base.Collaborate & Report: work with marketing, communications, and internal teams; provide updates and reports on project outcomes for leadership.What We’re Looking ForEssential Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of Surf Life Saving; previous volunteering or club involvement is highly valued.Strong project management skills from concept to completion, with focus on organization, deadlines, and budgets.Excellent ability to connect with internal and external stakeholders across Queensland.Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently.Problem-solving skills with diplomacy and tact.Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Queensland and occasionally interstate.Availability to attend committee meetings and occasional weekend work.Working with Children Blue Card or ability to obtain one.Desirable Skills & QualificationsExperience with educational programs or mentoring.Background in volunteer management, marketing, communications, or business.Experience in membership-driven organizations.Familiarity with CRM systems for membership management.If you're motivated, proactive, and passionate about making an impact and growing your career, we want to hear from you!
