What you'll be doing:
You'll play an important role in supporting brigades across the district by providing essential logistical and operational assistance, working closely with brigade members and district staff to strengthen capability and readiness. Your duties will span three office locations and support frontline operations in a practical and meaningful way, requiring adaptability and strong teamwork.

Offering hands on, varied opportunities to support frontline emergency service operations across the Mid Coast RFS District, the General Hand is essential to ensuring brigades are well supported, well-resourced and operationally ready.
To thrive in this role, you will have:
* A strong work ethic and willingness to undertake a broad range of duties
* An ability to follow instructions, work within procedures and meet WHS and environmental standards
* Effective communication and strong teamwork skills
* Practical experience in maintenance, logistics, stores, grounds work or other hands on roles
* Sound time management and the ability to prioritise daily tasks
* A positive, flexible approach with the ability to adapt to changing operational needs
