Our Children Services Team are the passionate leaders giving developing young minds the opportunity to learn, grow and have fun outside of school. Across 47 schools in NSW, our team of OSHC Educators and Coordinators provide before and after school (and school holiday) care that's dedicated to the safety and development of young children. Every day, the team facilitate and run a range of valuable programs and activities that include sport, creative arts, cooking – and many more. These roles work closely with children, parents and teachers alike, to provide meaningful opportunities for young people within a healthy, safe and inclusive environment. We are seeking a Casual Educator to support children at our OSHC services in Biddabah. You will be required to work across all Newcastle services, being Biddabah, Mayfield West and Valentine. Service operating times vary, with shifts between 6am-9am and 2pm-6pm.
We require an availability of a minimum of 3 afternoon shifts per week to be considered for this role.

* You will help design a calendar of inclusive, exciting, and engaging program activities
* Reporting to the Coordinators of our OSHC centres, you will be one of over 200 educators who support children across NSW

To be successful in this role, you will have
* Experience supervising and interacting with children
* Ability to follow safeguarding priorities
* Availability to supervise Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care hours
* Current First Aid HLTAID012 - Provide an emergency response in an education and care setting and CPR
* Valid Working with Children Check
* Police Check (paid for by the Y)
