Screen Queensland secures international and interstate production and post-production projects for Queensland supports locally produced films, series and games, drives initiatives to build skills and careers for local screen practitioners, and funds film festivals and industry conferences.

**About the Opportunity | Chief Executive Officer**
Responsible for developing and delivering the Strategic Plan with the Board, you will provide high-level advice to the Board and the State Government on operations, policy and planning.
You will lead a high-performing team, spearhead the screen industry's expansion in Queensland and enhance Screen Queensland's impact and profile by developing strategies that leverage the rapidly evolving local and global screen industry.
**About You**
We are looking for a Chief Executive Officer who is passionate about the Queensland screen industry and Screen Queensland's role in ensuring it remains at the forefront of the wider industry and thrives in changing times.
To succeed in this role, you will possess the following attributes and experience:
- Ability to develop, implement and execute business and operational strategies.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of national and international screen industry issues, environment and trends.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organisational and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to engage stakeholders, manage diverse viewpoints and build appropriate partnerships.
- High-level creative and analytical skills.
