The Opportunity -
The AH-64E Apache is the world's most advanced and proven attack helicopter. It integrates innovative technologies to aid the crew in decision making, offering a new level of battlefield dominance through enhanced performance, increased situational awareness, superior survivability, and improved target detection, acquisition and engagement.
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to support the AH-64E Apache helicopter program. The Australian Apache's will join the growing global fleet of more than 1280 aircraft operating in 18 countries, including coalition and regional partners.
This role is based in the Apache Support Facility, Townsville working alongside the Army customer.
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will:
Be an integral part of the Supply Chain Capability and contribute to the business growth strategyAnalyse warehouse requirements and performance to contractual obligations and and develop compliance tools that link with ADF regulations and safety standards.Assist with management and monitoring of defence supply chain delivery and warehouse performance.Daily execution of warehouse logistical operations encompassing governance and stocktaking.Assist with analysing and provide input into mitigation plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting warehouse with identifying improvement opportunities with warehouse processes and procedures to incorporate into the ASF warehouse operations model.Proven ability to display a positive and flexible attitude, self-motivated and efficient.Current Drivers Licence (essential) and Forklift Operators license (desirable)
To be successful in this role you will have:
Demonstrated 10 years + experience in Defence aerospace/Foreign Military Sales (FMS) supply chain warehouse environment.Experience in Defence warehousing and distribution systems and methodologiesA superior knowledge of the Australian Defence Force Electronic Supply Chain Manual and the application ofCapable of astute prioritisation of work in a demanding and dynamic environment.Team orientated and likes a challenge.Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skillsDemonstrated experience in identifying, establishing and promoting supply process improvements within a warehouse environment.Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
