We're currently looking for a trade qualified Fitter and Turner to join the Maintenance Team at the Jubilee Sawmill in Mount Gambier, South Australia.
The Role
Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, your main responsibility will be to safely and efficiently carry out repair and preventative maintenance work across the Jubilee Sawmill Site.
Starting hourly rates of $39.67 per hour (Classification MGMC7), with development opportunities available to progress to $44.46 per hour (Classification MGMC5).
15% shift loading is additional on afternoon shift, 30% shift loading is additional on night shift.
Two Role/shift Rotation Options Available
* Greenmill Area Fitter: Rotating day and afternoon shift, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday)
* Workshop Fitter: Rotating day, afternoon and night shift, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week (Monday to Friday)
Weekend work and shift coverage may be required.
You
* Hold a valid fitter and turner trade qualification
* Have experience in maintenance fitting & machining work or relevant trade experience
* Be able to prioritise & act with a sense of urgency to achieve plant uptime targets
* Have good problem-solving skills
* Be able to work effectively independently or in a team
* Are willing to continually learn
