We are currently looking for a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Primary Care services at the Shortland Correctional Centre.
To be eligible to apply, you must have:
* Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
* At least one full year of experience working as a Registered Nurse.
Location: Shortland Correctional Centre is a maximum-security facility for male offenders located on the Cessnock Correctional Complex in the Hunter Valley, 151km north-west of Sydney. The clinic covering Sectors 3/4 is suitable for Registered Nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and offers opportunities to expand skills and responsibility.
The Role
We're looking for a qualified Registered Nurse currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) with at least one year of nursing experience. The Registered Nurse performs reception screening and comprehensive health assessments on persons received into custody while assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing management.
