About the Opportunity As the Design Draftsperson for Austal Defence Australia (ADA), you’ll be responsible to provide and support the Design of a vessel from concept through to delivery, ontime and on budget that satisfies the standards of Austal, the client and regulatory authorities. What’s Involved Produce accurate information and documentation, meeting all procedural and auditable requirements Ensure vessel design complies with relevant regulatory authorities, specifications and customer requirements Maintain a high attention to detail, minimising rework and ensuring consistency across deliverables. Manage and incorporate design inputs from third parties, including drawings, certifications, and manuals Monitor task schedules and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality. Provide technical support as required across design and production teams.
