NSW Health Pathology is seeking skilled Revenue Administration Officers to support the delivery of vital health services through accurate and compliant financial and administrative processes. We are currently recruiting multiple permanent full-time positions based at the John Hunter Hospital, while also establishing an eligibility list for future permanent full time / part time, temporary and casual opportunities. In this role, you will manage billing, liaise with key stakeholders such as Medicare and health funds, and ensure financial transactions are processed in accordance with legislative, statutory, and NSW Health requirements. What You'll Be Doing
The Revenue Officer is responsible for ensuring all revenue related administration and financial transactions and processes are managed in accordance with legislative, statutory, NSW Health and NSW Health Pathology compliance obligations.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated knowledge and use of billing systems as well as the ability to analyses and report on findings
* Proven knowledge and experience with regards to interpreting applicable policies and legislation pertaining to billing requirements in an accounts related/revenue setting
* Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare a range of documents and reports for internal and external stakeholders
* Developed analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to plan, priorities and organise own work taking into consideration the impact on others to achieve results and meet key performance indicators
* Demonstrated experience working within an environment requiring sensitivity and consideration in relation to confidentiality and privacy
