Job Title: Recovery Support Specialist
The recovery support specialist plays a crucial role in the lives of our participants by providing vital operational support and contributing to innovative solutions that enhance our programs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide close support to individuals and their clinical care teams to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration.
* Lead engaging groups and activities to promote skills development and social interaction, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to prioritize growth, recognize invaluable efforts, and drive results-oriented initiatives.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualifications or commensurate experience working in a support role for people with mental health challenges.
* Demonstrated experience and/or transferable skills & knowledge in working with people with serious mental health challenges.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Right to work within Australia, along with a valid Driver's Licence and willingness to undertake some travel.
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate, as well as a satisfactory National Police Records Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Working with Children's Check.
