Competitive hourly rate of $55.56 per hour 15% Shift Loading for Afternoons Rotating shifts: 6:00am – 2:00pm and 2:00pm – 10:00pm Brand new manufacturing facility with modern equipment Secure permanent position with a growing FMCG business Ongoing training and career development opportunities Supportive and collaborative team environment The Role As a Maintenance Electrician, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of production equipment and site services. Your responsibilities will include: Performing preventative and reactive maintenance across production and packaging equipment Diagnosing and repairing faults on industrial electrical systems and machinery Troubleshooting motors, drives, PLCs, sensors and control systems Responding promptly to breakdowns to minimise production downtime Conducting inspections and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards Assisting with equipment upgrades, installations and continuous improvement projects Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation Working closely with production teams to maximise equipment reliability and efficiency Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with site procedures About You To be successful in this role, you will possess: Current Queensland Electrical Licence Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent trade qualification Previous experience within FMCG, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, packaging or manufacturing environments Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities Experience working with PLC-controlled machinery, motors, drives and industrial control systems A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement Strong commitment to workplace health and safety Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
