Firefighter Role

* Minimizing loss of life, property, and the environment through prompt responses to fires and emergencies.
* Enhancing community safety through fire prevention and education activities.
As a firefighter, you will be responsible for:
* Responding to emergency calls, operating firefighting equipment, and providing first aid and resuscitation when needed.
* Maintaining equipment and resources to ensure operational readiness.
Key responsibilities include:
* Participating in rescue operations, including fires, road crash rescues, technical rescues, hazardous materials incidents, and other emergencies as part of a fire crew.
* Operating emergency response vehicles and equipment safely and effectively.
* Providing first aid and resuscitation services.
* Ensuring equipment, resources, and facilities are maintained to optimal levels.
* Applying acquired skills and knowledge to perform various tasks, including research, risk reduction, readiness, response, and recovery.
