About the Role
This part-time opportunity supports the hospitality function within a care home environment, encompassing catering, cleaning, and laundry services.
As a dedicated individual with exceptional food services and cleaning skills, you can make a tangible difference in residents' lives by providing empathetic and personalized support.
Please note that this role requires availability during shifts of 4pm-7.30pm. Only candidates with matching availability are encouraged to apply.
* Maintain high standards of legislated workplace health and safety, quality, and hygiene
* Complete necessary documentation and reporting tasks
* Respond promptly to residents' queries and requests for assistance
* Laundry duties involve loading washers & dryers, sorting linen, hanging, folding, wrapping or ironing linen
* Catering / food services duties include assisting with basic food preparation, serving meals and snacks, clearing dining areas and dishwashing
* Cleaning duties encompass general cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, and waste collection in residents' rooms, bathrooms, communal areas and living spaces

* Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
* Assist with food preparation, including meal planning and ingredient procurement
Housekeeping and Laundry
* Ensure high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility
* Conduct laundry duties efficiently, adhering to established protocols
Safety and Quality
* Maintain accurate records of work-related activities and incidents
* Report any concerns or issues related to resident safety and well-being
