We have an opportunity for an Analyst to join our Infrastructure team on a contract basis to May 2026.
The Analyst, Infrastructure will be a member of the infrastructure investment team and will work on activities across the investment lifecycle to deliver long-term value for NSW, including the following.
* Supporting origination, evaluation, execution and asset management of infrastructure investments.
* Conducting market and industry research, financial analysis and building and/or reviewing financial models.
* Undertaking due diligence and preparing high-quality investment papers.
* Engaging with investment managers, advisors and boards on asset management activities.
* Contributing to valuation processes, reporting and environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives across the portfolio.
The successful candidate will bring the following attributes.
* Tertiary qualifications in finance, commerce, law, economics or engineering.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in investment or corporate finance (for example, investment banking, corporate advisory, funds management or project finance).
* Infrastructure sector experience and strong financial modelling skills.
* Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and work collaboratively in a team.
Postgraduate qualifications such as CFA, CA or a Master's degree will be highly regarded.
