About the Company

This role is with a pioneering organisation in the modular and prefabricated construction space, known for delivering innovative, off-site manufactured solutions that integrate rebar manufacturing with full-service FRP contracting. With over a decade of experience supplying major civil infrastructure projects in New South Wales, the company has now expanded into South Australia.


Role Overview

The Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle—from award to completion—ensuring compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and financial targets. Responsibilities include comprehensive planning, resource allocation, and performance monitoring to deliver projects within scope and budget.


Key Responsibilities

* Lead project planning and execution, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
* Manage financial aspects, including budgeting, cost tracking, and profit and loss reporting.
* Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
* Oversee procurement of materials and subcontractors.
* Implement and monitor project-specific WHS and environmental management plans.
* Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.


Qualifications and Experience

* Minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience in engineering or project management roles, including at least 2 years in Australia.
* Background in civil infrastructure, FRP, or rebar is preferred.
* Proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
* Solid understanding of reinforcement, temporary works, and prefabrication techniques.
* A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
* Demonstrated experience in managing commercial risks and client relationships.


Skills and Attributes

* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
* Ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and CAD software.
* Familiarity with project management and quality assurance systems.
