12 Days On / 9 Days Off (Drive Out on Day 12)

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Groundsman & Transport Operator to join our remote operations team. This hybrid role offers a dynamic mix of land management and transport duties, supporting the upkeep and presentation of grounds and equipment in a remote environment. You'll be part of a collaborative team, with the autonomy to work independently while contributing to a safe and well-maintained site. This role is DIDO (Drive in, Drive out) with 12 hour work days on a spilt roster.
Key Responsibilities -
Land Management & Equipment Operation:
* Operate and maintain ride-on/push mowers, tractors with slashers
* Use bobcats, tip trucks, hydraulic trailers, and spray buggies
* Operate brush cutters, chainsaws, herbicide sprayers, and hand tools
Groundskeeping & Gardening:
* Mowing, pruning, hedging, mulching, and turf care
* Clean roadside gutters and open drains
* Maintain outdoor facilities (BBQs, public spaces)
* Plant and propagate native and landscaped areas
* Maintain large grassed areas (e.g., school grounds, sports ovals)
* Conduct equipment inspections and basic maintenance
* Manage wildlife incidents per site procedures
* Apply herbicides and fertilisers
* Perform irrigation and mulching/gravel installations
Skills & Qualifications (Preferred)
We're looking for candidates with one or more of the following:
* Australian Citizen
* Forklift (FL) Licence
* Medium Rigid (MR) Truck Licence
* Chainsaw Certification
* First Aid Certificate
