Restaurant Supervisor – Luma Kitchen

Luma Kitchen is looking for an experienced and energetic Restaurant Supervisor to help lead our front of house team.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives under pressure, leads by example, and takes genuine pride in delivering outstanding guest experiences — every shift, without exception. You'll be on the floor with your team, not managing from the sidelines.

The role
* Be an active, visible presence on the floor — leading by example and setting the standard for service

* Manage rostering to ensure the right coverage across morning, lunch and dinner service

* Oversee espresso and specialty beverage service to a consistently high standard

* Manage table flow, seating and pacing to keep service seamless even at peak volume

* Uphold standards of presentation, cleanliness and guest experience across the whole venue

* Handle guest feedback and complaints with professionalism and genuine care

* Assist with inventory, ordering and stock control

* Partner closely with the kitchen team to keep service timely and consistent

* Train, mentor and develop team members, and ensure compliance with health, safety and licensing requirements

* Lead and coordinate front of house floor staff, bartenders and baristas, through every service period

About you
* Proven supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant, café or hospitality venue

* Strong knowledge of espresso, café operations and specialty beverages

* Confidence directing and supporting a mixed team under pressure

* Clear communicator with strong organisational skills and a calm head in a busy service

* A genuine passion for hospitality, guest service and team culture

* Current RSA certification (preferred)
