What We Are Looking For
Due to internal movements, we are looking for a Technical Officer Operations to join our high performing Infrastructure Operations team. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting safe, compliant and effective service delivery by providing technical assurance and advice on transport and stormwater infrastructure matters.
What Your Day Will Look Like
* Reviewing designs, scope and project documentation to ensure compliance and identify potential risks
* Providing technical advice on design review, constructability, costing and programming of capital and operational works
* Preparing and reviewing technical documentation and monitoring project outcomes
* Working closely with internal stakeholders, consultants and government agencies as necessary
* Identifying and capitalising on opportunities for improvement

What You'll Need For Success
* Experience providing advice on design, constructability, costing and programming across capital and operational works
* Experience preparing and reviewing technical documentation
* Solid understanding of project financial management principles
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non technical audiences
What's Nice To Have
* Tertiary qualification in construction or project management
* Experience working in a local government environment
