Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Control System Engineer with a strong background in system design and integration to join our engineering team.
Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement control systems for industrial applications, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability.
Configure and program Allen Bradley PLCs and other control hardware, including remote I/O, motor protection relays, and Siemens LV drives.
Test and commission control systems on site, verifying functionality and compliance with design specifications.
Follow P&IDs, electrical schematics, and other design documentation.
Collaborate with other disciplines to develop, update functional descriptions, specifications, testing, and commissioning plans.
Apply functional safety practices in system design.
Communicate effectively with management, co-workers, clients, and stakeholders.
Qualifications 5‑10 years of experience in the iron ore industry.
Hands‑on experience with Allen Bradley PLC programming and Flex/remote I/O.
Experience with E300 motor protection relays, Siemens LV drives, and BHP WAIO or Port standard drive logic, including safety PLCs.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail.
Knowledge of Ethernet/Device Net communication network configuration (desirable).
Familiarity with functional safety practices.
