Baking and preparing rolls, muffins, cookies, pies, cakes, croissants, pastry, scones, bars, quiche, tarts, tartlets and other baked items. 2. Prepare baked Cakes, Mud Cakes, Tortes & Gateaux, Daily Treats, Celebration Cakes, Desserts, Kids Cakes and Candles. 3. Making pastry dough and operating pastry machines. Mix shortbread dough and savoury dough. Kneading, cutting and moulding dough. 4. Baking bread, rolls and pastry products. Prepare pasty fillings and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food prep checklists. 5. Weighing, kneading, maturing, cutting, mounding, mixing, placing, proofing and shaping the dough and preparing the fillings for the pastry. 6. Forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of the batches of the baked items like rolls, muffins and other items 7. Icing, frosting, creaming, spreading, sprinkling, glazing and decorating the baked items. 8. Quality and quantity checks, 9. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use. 10. Prepare cream & custard cream. Mix and produce scrolls. Decorating cakes, pastries & buns 11. Operate the machine to produce the quiches and tart, 12. Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare baked foods. 13. Reviewing the production schedules to determine the variety and quantity of goods to be baked, checking and assembling of raw materials and equipments needed for daily baking activities. 14. Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures, including personal hygiene procedures, occupational health and safety regulations. 15. Check and ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances, ovens and food, and report issues to management. 16. Determining and monitoring the baking time for the items, oven temperatures and their appearance. 17. Wash and disinfect kitchen area; set-up and break-down work station; and follow and ensure compliance with sanitation and cleaning procedures. Greasing baking trays and other cooking equipment 18. Using, emptying, cleaning and greasing the baking trays, tins and other cooking equipments and operating machines. 19. Monitor the quality of food prepared and portions served throughout shift. 20. Ensuring the cleanliness of the cooking equipments and area and following the occupational health and safety regulations. Examining and reporting any problems and needs of the equipments, food supplies and any other unusual conditions.
