We've partnered with an ASX listed technology company with a global footprint to find another senior lawyer for their legal team based in Sydney.
You'll sit at the centre of technology, product, data, AI and cybersecurity working closely with senior stakeholders around the world to help shape how the business innovates, scales and manages risk in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.

Key responsibilities
* Negotiating and structuring complex commercial and technology agreements that directly enable revenue growth
* Embedding with product and engineering teams to identify legal risk early
* Advising on data governance, AI deployment, cybersecurity preparedness and incident response
* Interpreting and applying evolving global frameworks across privacy, competition, marketing and AI regulation
* Helping design governance frameworks that scale with the business
* Supporting strategic alliances and commercial partnerships
About you
* Trained in a top-tier law firm or in-house legal function (ideally within tech, SaaS, data or digital)
* Strong experience across emerging AI regulation, data and cybersecurity
* Significant exposure to GDPR, Australian privacy law and global AI governance frameworks
* Around 4+ years' experience in cyber/data-related advisory work
* Able to \"talk tech\" and ask engineers the right questions
* Comfortable operating in scale-up environments where structure evolves quickly
* A self-starter who doesn't wait for perfect information
* Collaborative, low-ego and impact-driven
