**Position overview**
The School Manager, provides high-level strategic and operational management of the Research School of Chemistry, working closely with the School Director, School Executive and College of Science to deliver outcomes that progress the School, College and University vision for excellence in research and education. The School Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic plans; maximising the School's performance in terms of staff and students. They work collaboratively with senior College of Science staff to facilitate the administrative support provided by the College administration teams.
The School Manager leads and manages the school's administration functions, including general and student administration, human resources and financial support to staff, students and visitors of the School. They oversee the School's technical staff to support the delivery of technical and research services; and has oversight of infrastructure management within the School.
