We are seeking a senior, highly credible Program Director to lead the delivery of ASIC's RegistryConnect digital transformation program. This is a critical leadership role accountable for delivering one of the Australian Government's Tier 1 digital transformation initiatives to modernise ASIC's business registers and related channels. Through the RegistryConnect program, ASIC will deliver reliable, secure, trusted and efficient registry services to support the economy for the benefit of all Australians strengthening trust in the financial system.

* Deliver secure, modern and trusted business registers and related digital channels relied upon across the economy and uplift the quality and integrity of registry data

The Role
Through RegistryConnect, ASIC is transforming and modernising its business registers to improve security, resilience, data quality and user experience for millions of Australian business, investors and consumers.
As Program Director – RegistryConnect, you will be accountable for the end‑to‑end delivery of this complex, high‑profile program, ensuring outcomes are delivered to scope, schedule and budget, while meeting rigorous whole‑of‑government assurance requirements.
Reporting to the Senior Responsible Officer (SRO), you will lead a large, multidisciplinary delivery function and work at the intersection of business operations, technology, policy, cyber security and regulation.
Key Responsibilities include
* Lead the successful delivery of the Registry Connect Program in line with the approved business case, benefits plan and Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) Tier 1 assurance requirements
* Lead and coordinate large, multidisciplinary delivery teams and delivery partners, ensuring quality, consistency and alignment across all projects within the program
* Define, maintain and govern the integrated program delivery plan, overseeing schedule, financial management, risk management and benefits realisation
* Oversee program‑level risk, issue and dependency management, escalating material matters to governance forums and the SRO
* Prepare high‑quality papers and reporting for executive committees, steering committees and portfolio governance forums.
About You
You are an accomplished senior program leader with a strong track record delivering large‑scale, complex digital transformation programs, ideally within government or highly regulated environments.
You Bring
* Demonstrated experience leading the delivery of multi‑year, high‑risk digital programs with complex stakeholder and governance arrangements
* Deep understanding of program management frameworks, assurance requirements and whole‑of‑government delivery expectations
* Strong executive presence and the ability to operate effectively in complex, high‑pressure environments
* Outstanding judgement, risk management capability and the ability to drive outcomes in ambiguity
* Project or program management qualifications (e.g. MSP, PRINCE2, Agile) and experience working within Commonwealth assurance and procurement frameworks are highly regarded.
