Risk Manager – Risk Event & Breach Management Implementation

A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Risk Manager to support the implementation of new Risk Event and Breach Management processes, delivered as part of a major enterprise risk transformation program.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the rollout of enhanced risk event and breach management frameworks and procedures across the organisation.
* Engage with risk, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure effective adoption and consistent application of the new processes.
* Provide subject matter expertise on operational risk incidents, root cause analysis, and breach remediation activities.
* Contribute to change management, communications, and training initiatives to support successful implementation.
* Identify opportunities to improve risk controls, reporting, and incident capture practices.
About You
* Extensive experience in Risk Management within banking, financial services, or highly regulated industries.
* Strong working knowledge of risk event and breach management processes and regulatory expectations.
* Proven stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across multiple business units.
* Experience working within risk transformation or change programs highly desirable.
* Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
This is a high-impact role contributing to meaningful risk uplift and process improvement across a complex financial services environment.
Hybrid role – 3 days onsite in Melbourne.
