Job Description
Reporting to the Site Manager, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing blending, storage, and dispatch operations at our Maroota site. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant site performance, while leading and developing a small team to meet production and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Safety & Compliance
o Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS/OHS requirements
o Identify and report hazards, incidents, and risks
o Support audits and ensure adherence to site and industry standards
* People & Leadership
o Lead, supervise, and develop a small team
o Conduct training, toolbox talks, and performance management
o Drive a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement
* Operations (Blending, Storage & Dispatch)
o Coordinate daily blending, storage, and dispatch activities
o Ensure products meet quality specifications and customer requirements
o Manage inventory, stock movements, and documentation
o Oversee receival and dispatch processes, including weighbridge activities
o Work closely with Production and Maintenance teams to optimise performance
o Operate mobile equipment (forklift, loader) as required
Skills & Experience
* Experience in warehousing, manufacturing, or bulk handling environments
* Proven leadership and people management capability
* Strong planning, organisational, and problem‐solving skills
* High attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
* Mechanical aptitude and experience with plant or equipment
* Forklift and/or front-end loader licences (required)
* Sound computer skills (MS Office or similar systems)
