Are you passionate about providing compassionate care to the elderly? We are seeking a part-time Carer to join our dedicated team at Coolibah Care's aged care facility in Mandurah & Peel, Western Australia. In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality personal care and support to our valued residents, ensuring their safety, comfort and well-being.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting residents with their daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobilisation
* Monitoring residents' health and wellbeing, and reporting any changes to the appropriate staff
* Engaging residents in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life
* Maintaining accurate and detailed records of resident care
* Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and legislative requirements
* Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to deliver person-centred care
What we're looking for
* Certificate III or Certificate IV in Individual Support (Aged Care)
* Experience in providing personal care to the elderly, preferably in a residential aged care setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathise and build rapport with residents
* A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine commitment to improving the lives of older adults
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
* A Police Clearance ( less than 6 months old), Evidence of Flu Vaccination 2024 and 2 Covid Vaccinations
