CCIWA is searching for a bold, visionary Chief Economist to lead our policy, advocacy, and economics teams. As part of the executive team and reporting to the CEO, this is your chance to drive real change, influence decision-makers, and be the go-to expert for business in WA.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the Conversation: Be the public face of CCIWA on radio, TV, digital, and at major events delivering sharp, timely insights that matter.
- Drive Policy Impact: Shape and execute a powerful policy agenda that champions WA business and fuels economic growth.
- Build Powerful Networks: Forge strong relationships with government, business leaders, media, and members to amplify our influence.
- Deliver Insights: Provide actionable economic analysis that keeps our members ahead of the curve.
- Inspire a High-Performing Team: Lead and mentor a talented group of policy, media, and economics professionals.

You’re a strategic thinker, a natural influencer, and a passionate advocate for business. You thrive in the spotlight, love a challenge, and have a proven track record in:
- Senior-level economic analysis, policy development, and advocacy
- Building high-impact networks across government, business, and media
- Communicating complex ideas with clarity and confidence on stage and in the media
- Leading teams and driving results in fast-paced environments
