**About the Opportunity**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Create and manage Social Media strategies and content calendars
- Grow follower base and engagement across our social media channels
- Create fun, innovating and engaging content, working alongside the Multimedia Coordinator
- Leverage social listening, sharing and utilising insights to develop topical, engaging content, inclusive of agile and reactive opportunities
- Monitoring of social media channels to interact with fans and drive engagement.
- Analysing our content performance and audience to identify data driven insights and opportunities
- Work with the NBL's marketing team to identify channel growth opportunities, influencer strategies and League collaborations
- Working with department leaders to understand their strategies and objectives, and identify how to drive further impact of these on social media
- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, best practices, and technologies
- Attend games, club events, and press conferences to create engaging content and behind-the-scenes coverage.
- Work with current broadcast partners and the NBL to create engaging content that can be used by other media.
- Assist with media and broadcast management as required.
- Assist with photography for club purposes when required.
- Passionate about and demonstrated experience in the creation of engaging social media content
- Expert knowledge of social media capabilities and digital trends across platforms including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok particularly across the professional sporting landscape.
- Strong knowledge in data analytics to analyse trends and identify and capitalise on opportunities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills across multiple stakeholders
- Ability to work to a deadline and under pressure, and overcome obstacles.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritise.
- Friendly, fun, team player
- Familiarity of working within sporting entertainment highly desirable.
- Interest in basketball and understanding of terminology preferred.
- Has a current driver's license.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Tasmanian working with vulnerable people check.
- Flexible with the ability to work nights and weekends as required.
- Creativity and a sense of humour, with the ability to bring the cheekiness of our JackJumpers brand to life!
