We are looking for our next Medical Receptionist superstar to join our fantastic team in Butler. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced receptionist to grow their career path in a dynamic and exciting environment. This is a casual position of around 25-30 hours per week with a view to permanent part time for the right individual.
Job Responsibilities
* Ensure the smooth day to day running of our busy front desk
* Process online claiming including Medicare reconciling and batching
* Patient billing and receipting ensuring complete accuracy as well as following up on outstanding payments and DNA fees
* Opening and closing the practice (some 7.15am starts and 5.30pm finishes M - F and Sundays) Flexibility to work a variety of shifts across these days and times is essential.
To be successful in this role you will need:
* A confident and friendly demeanor with exceptional customer service skills
* Previous medical reception experience
* Capable of working under pressure in a busy environment
* Experience with Best Practice and Xero highly regarded
* Flexibility with shifts and the ability to cover leave at short notice is an essential requirement for this role
