Lifestyle Kitchens, Wardrobes & Shower Screens is family owned and operated company that has been in operation for over 30 years. We specialise in joinery (cabinet making), wardrobes and glazing and take a lot of pride in the quality of our product and the service we provide.
As we continue to grow and expand, we are looking for a new draftsperson to join our team. This job role involves drawing joinery for production using a CAD program (Microvellum).
We are looking to find someone that is very experienced and knowledgeable regarding cabinet making and preferably someone that already has been drafting using a CAD program (not essential). They need to work well in a team environment, enjoy customer interactions and be eager to further their knowledge and skills in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Consultation: Liaising with clients regularly to ensure that the project runs smoothly and the client is happy with the production drawings
* Product Knowledge: Maintaining a thorough understanding of the company's products & materials
* Relationship Building: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients
Skills and Qualifications:
* Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills
* Design Knowledge: A good understanding of design principles, materials, and joinery techniques
* Product Knowledge: Familiarity with various wardrobe and joinery products, materials, and finishes
* Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret plans, do on-site measures, produce technical production drawings and nest projects to the CNC
* Computer Skills: Proficiency in using CAD software and other relevant software
* Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively
* Time Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
