Job Summary
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee maintenance operations on rural and urban roads, drainage networks, footpaths, and cycle ways. This role requires strong leadership skills to supervise a crew, undertake inspections to prioritize planned and emergent works, and manage construction activities when required.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate the crew for effective delivery of maintenance projects
* Undertake inspections of rural road and drainage networks to identify areas of improvement
* Manage construction activities on councils rural and urban road and drainage systems
* Monitor and control project costs
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
* Queensland C class provisional driver's license
* Certificate III in Civil Construction or equivalent qualification
* Demonstrated experience in supervising a work team and operating plant equipment
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to operate within a remote camp environment
