Lead the heartbeat of our payables function. As AP Team Leader (Onshore), you’ll drive accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across end‑to‑end accounts payable operations. You’ll lead a high‑performing onshore team, partner seamlessly with offshore support, and work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve vendor issues, strengthen controls, and continuously improve processes. This is a hands‑on leadership role where precision, collaboration, and people leadership make a real business impact. A day in the life: Lead, mentor, and develop the onshore AP team while supporting offshore operations and escalations Own end‑to‑end accounts payable processes, ensuring timely, accurate payments and compliant controls Monitor performance against OKRs and SLAs, providing coaching and feedback where required Act as the key AP contact for internal stakeholders and suppliers, resolving issues and maintaining strong relationships Oversee aged creditors, payment cycles, and vendor reconciliations Drive continuous improvement, automation, and system enhancements across AP processes Maintain AP SOPs and ensure consistent, best‑practice ways of working Ensure compliance with financial policies, SOX controls, audit requirements, and fraud prevention standards Deliver accurate AP reporting, metrics, and insights to senior leadership Lead and support AP‑related projects, system implementations, and operational transitions Partner with Finance, Technology, and Change teams to embed new processes into BAU operations Who you are: Strong leadership, coaching, team management skills and excellent communication and stakeholder engagement ability End‑to‑end knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and financial controls Strong analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Business Central, Xero) and AP automation tools Advanced Excel skills with confidence in analysing and presenting data High attention to detail with strong organisation and prioritisation skills 3–5 years’ Accounts Payable experience, with 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role Experience in shared services or multi‑location environments (offshore exposure desirable) Strong understanding of reconciliations, payment platforms, and AP systems Knowledge of compliance requirements including GST/VAT and audit processes Certificate IV or Diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Business Administration (or equivalent) Leadership, business, or finance qualifications highly regarded but not essential What you'll enjoy: Ongoing brain power-ups and skill sharpening Catapult your career across a network of brands and businesses in an evolving industry ✈️ Say no to full price!
