About the roleTaco Joint' is looking for a passionate Grill master/Team member to join our dynamic and fast-paced kitchen team in Oxley & Slacks Creek QLD.
As a full-time team member, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious Mexican-fast food dishes to delight our customers.
This hands-on role is the perfect opportunity for an experienced cook who thrives in a bustling kitchen environment.What you'll be doingExpertly grilling and cooking a variety of meats, vegetables and side dishes to Taco Joint's high standardsEnsuring all dishes are prepared to recipe specifications and presented beautifullyMaintaining a clean, safe and well-organised kitchen environmentProviding excellent customer service and working collaboratively with the front-of-house teamAssisting with inventory management and ordering of kitchen suppliesFollowing all health and safety regulationsWhat we're looking forMinimum of 1 year experience as a Line Cook, Grill Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant environmentFormal culinary training or qualification desirableExcellent time management and multi-tasking skillsPassion for creating delicious, high-quality Mexican-inspired cuisineStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work calmly and efficiently under pressureWhat we offerAt Taco Joint', we pride ourselves on creating a positive and supportive work workplace for our team.
