Australian Federal Government Agency has a requirement for an experienced** Change Manager **in Canberra.
The Change Manager controls all changes in a standardised manner in relation to the Department and Enterprise Service Management Centre (ESMC) policies, procedures and plans.
Reporting directly to the Customer Delivery Manager, the position leads the implementation of Change Management process across the account aligned to ITIL framework, to ensure the process requirements and applicable controls for the Enhanced Capability Team (ECT) are robust.
**The Change Manager is accountable for management of day to day Changes in line with the client which includes but is not limited to;**
Convening, Chairing and documenting of Client specific internal CABs including Emergency CABs (ECAB)
Attend and participate in Client convened CABs
Request for Change (RFC) impact assessment and categorisation
Ensure RFC's have been completed adequately, including a review of the testing signoff implementation and back out plans
Work with Change Initiators to rectify where RFC's do not meet RFC requirements
Ensure RFCs meet the required lead times
Creation and management of the Forward Schedule of Changes (FSC)
Ensures reviewed RFC records are completed with appropriate CAB authorisation.
Adoption of a zero tolerance to unauthorised Changes
Create and deliver Change Management reporting as required to meet ICS and Client requirements
Ensure all RFC are documented in the Client service management tools.
Review forward schedule to ensure that conflicts do not exist. Negotiate client to resolve as required.
Take corrective action or escalates process issues to relevant business
May be required to work on-site at Client premises
Complete Risk assessment of changes and mitigate as required
Manage Issue tracking on your lead accounts and maintain a register of agreed actions
