An exciting opportunity awaits, a skilled and motivated Blast Hole Driller to join our mining department. This role will be responsible for the operation of the recently refurbished Terex SKSW drill to achieve high quality drill patterns to facilitate overburden blasting. When not operating the drill, you will expand your knowledge and skills by joining the production crew to assist in mining activities. Key Responsibilities
Consistently deliver high quality drilling outcomes in line with production targets and mine schedules.
Conduct pre-start inspections and routine maintenance checks on drill equipment to ensure safe and optimal operation.
Monitor drill performance and make adjustments as required to maintain accuracy, depth, and pattern compliance.
Accurately complete daily reports and drilling logs, including hole depths, delays, consumable usage, and shift summaries.
Identify and communicate ground condition variations or hazards to Supervisor to support safe blasting practices.
Participate actively in daily pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, and safety interactions to promote a proactive safety culture.
Where required you will have the opportunity to train and gain qualifications in the operation of additional mining equipment.

What You'll Bring to the Role
Previous experience in the operation of coal production drills. Additional equipment skills and experience would also be highly regarded.
A positive can do attitude with a strong passion for safety improving mining efficiencies.
