The Role As the Payroll and Accounts Officer, you will play a key role in managing payroll for 100+ employees and supporting the finance operations of the business. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for:
· Processing end to end payroll on a weekly basis
· Ensuring compliance with awards and enterprise agreements
· Maintaining payroll records and updating employee details
· Responding to payroll-related queries
· Assisting with payroll reporting and reconciliations
· Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions
· Reconciling AP and AR ledgers
· Reconciling bank statements
What We're Looking For
· Previous experience in payroll processing role (medium sized organisation)
· Proven experience in accounts administration (minimum 2 years)
· Proficiency with payroll systems (Pronto and MYOB)
· Intermediate excel skills (pivot tables)
· Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
· Excellent communication and time management skills
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
· Solid knowledge of Australian payroll legislation
· Previous experience in EBA's
· Australian citizenship required
