About the Role
Hastings Deering is currently recruiting for a Technical Parts Advisor to join our vibrant and inclusive Acacia Ridge based team on a permanent, lifestyle rostered basis (4 on/5 off, 5 on/4 off, 5 on/ 5off – 11 hrs per day)
Reporting to the Customer Care Supervisor - Technical, the primary responsibility of this role will be to provide maximum customer satisfaction by ensuring all customer contacts are professionally handled, and customer orders are processed promptly and accurately.
This role will involve the following key duties and responsibilities:
* Ensure customers technical queries are promptly and accurately interpreted and processed in accordance with company programs and procedures
* Ensure timely manner and courteous resolution of customer inquiries across phone and digital channels, maintaining service excellence standards
* Ensure customer data is reviewed and updated on every contact made
* Promote digital and ecommerce solutions to customers as directed by enterprise initiatives. This includes, but not limited to marketing campaigns and self-serve applications
* Process warranty claims in accordance with company policies and procedures
* Ensure related parts selling is practised whenever relevant and beneficial
* Manage all transactions in line with company policy and procedures, including, but not limited to data governance, quality management and general guidelines
* Develop customer loyalty by ensuring attention to customer needs, employing all available resources within the dealership to provide solutions for the customer
Essential Requirements
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and attributes:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within a Heavy Machinery Industry
* Thorough knowledge of Caterpillar and associated products, parts and services
* Intermediate Computer Skills, with experience in Microsoft Office Suite
* Advanced written and verbal communication skills
* Year 12 school Certificate
* You enjoy problem solving and working with other stakeholders in getting outcomes
