Join Metro South Health's Acquired Brain Injury Outreach Service (ABIOS) in Brisbane as a Permanent Part-time Senior Clinical Psychologist / Neuropsychologist & Rehabilitation Coordinator (up to 48 hrs per fortnight) delivering specialist rehabilitation and case management services to support community reintegration for adults with acquired brain injury.
About this role
Your new role:
Deliver specialist psychology, neuropsychology and rehabilitation services supporting adults with acquired brain injury to reintegrate into the community by:
* Delivering high quality clinical psychology / neuropsychology assessment, intervention and case management within a community rehabilitation setting
* Collaborating with an interprofessional team to support holistic rehabilitation and patient-centred care
* Providing clinical advice, supervision and support to junior clinicians, students and Allied Health Assistants
* Contributing to service development, quality improvement and research initiatives
* Partnering with patients, carers and providers to support coordinated care
About you:
You are an experienced and collaborative clinician passionate about improving outcomes for people with acquired brain injury with:
* Postgraduate qualification in Psychology accredited by APAC with Clinical Psychology and/or Clinical Neuropsychology endorsement
* General registration with AHPRA (Psychology Board of Australia)
* Demonstrated experience delivering clinical psychology / neuropsychology rehabilitation and case management services for complex patients
* Strong ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and engage with stakeholders and community partners
* Experience providing supervision, training and mentoring to developing clinicians and students
* Capability to contribute to service improvement, quality initiatives and evidence-based practice
