Job Role: Heavy Vehicle Trailer Service Technician
This position involves servicing, repairing, and diagnosing issues with our fleet of heavy vehicles and trailers. The ideal candidate will be able to problem solve, troubleshoot, and identify opportunities for improvement.
2. Collaborate with external providers to ensure timely completion of major repairs
3. Utilize strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues efficiently
4. Maintain accurate records and paperwork
5. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of process improvements
6. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns
Successful candidates will possess a mechanical trade certification (heavy vehicle/trailer essential), excellent knowledge of diagnostic, repair, and maintenance procedures for all brands of trailers, and at least 3 years of experience as a heavy vehicle/trailer technician. They should also demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint. We are looking for a reliable, punctual, trustworthy team player who can follow instructions and communicate information effectively to the fleet maintenance team.
