We are now seeking a guest-focused and results-driven Reservation Agent to join our team at Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort in either a Full-Time or Part-Time capacity. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional service, driving revenue, and ensuring an outstanding first impression for every guest.

Nestled within a resort boasting over 370 beautifully appointed rooms, a sparkling pool, a vibrant lagoon perfect for water adventures, and exceptional dining experiences, our property offers the perfect playground for creativity and connection. We're also home to the Sunshine Coast's largest convention centre, with the capacity to host up to 1,500 guests, making us a standout in both the domestic and international events market.

Job Description

As a Reservations Agent, you will play a key role in driving hotel performance and creating memorable experiences for every guest. In this role, you'll leverage your sales expertise and dedication to exceptional service to maximise occupancy and rates, all while ensuring guests feel valued and well cared for.

Key Responsibilities:

* Drive revenue through upselling and cross-selling, enhancing guest experiences and optimizing hotel performance.
* Respond to phone calls and emails with professionalism, offering personalized and efficient service.
* Accurately process guest reservations and input details with meticulous attention to detail.
* Address guest concerns with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring positive outcomes.
* Regularly monitor rates and promotions to capitalize on maximum sales opportunities.

**Full-Time or Part-Time role available**


Qualifications

* Proven experience in a Front Office or Reservations role
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Opera Cloud is highly advantageous
* Strong service orientation with exceptional attention to detail
* Ability to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
