Overview
Kinetic Fleet Services (KFS) is currently on the lookout for a Leading Hand that would like to become a valued member of our Mackay workshop.
From general maintenance tasks and repairs through to major component rebuilds, you'll get exposure to a variety of work across several vehicle makes and models. You'll also be a hands-on mentor for our workshop talent (Apprentices, Trade Assistants, and Heavy Vehicle Mechanics) with the reward of seeing them grow under your wing.
Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance tasks and repairs to heavy commercial fleet vehicles.
Lead and mentor workshop staff (Apprentices, Trade Assistants, and Heavy Vehicle Mechanics).
Engage in major component rebuilds and diagnostics where applicable.
Collaborate across multiple vehicle makes and models to keep daily work varied and engaging.

The Boxes You\'ll Tick
Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
Previous experience in maintenance and repairs to heavy commercial fleet
Prior experience in a Leading Hand role is preferred but not required
Minimum HR license or above
Exposure to diagnostics via computer-controlled systems is a bonus
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
