Job DescriptionStep into a high-impact Solutions Architect role at NCS Australia, focusing on driving growth within our expanding Microsoft practice through expert pre-sales engagement centred on Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (D365 CE).
You will be the primary technical authority during the sales cycle, partnering closely with our Account Management and Business Development teams to win new business with enterprise and government clients across Australia.
Your mission is to thoroughly understand prospective client challenges, design compelling D365 CE and Power Platform solutions, and establish unwavering technical confidence through your expertise, ultimately shaping successful deals and expanding NCS's footprint in the Microsoft ecosystem. Your core activities will revolve around engaging prospects, leading technical discovery sessions to uncover needs, and then crafting and delivering persuasive, tailored solution demonstrations that bring the potential of D365 CE and the Power Platform to life.
You will architect innovative solutions for proposals, RFI/RFP/RFQ responses, and translate complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling business value propositions, and effectively addressing technical questions and objections from prospective clients will be critical to your success in securing new opportunities for NCS. You will collaborate extensively with Sales, Account Managers, and delivery subject matter experts to ensure the solutions proposed are both visionary and viable, setting the stage for successful project delivery post-sale.
While your primary focus is winning new business, your deep understanding of D365 CE architecture, integration patterns, and best practices ensures credibility and technical integrity throughout the engagement.
Staying ahead of the curve on the latest Microsoft advancements will be vital to maintaining your competitive edge and crafting cutting-edge proposals that differentiate NCS Australia in the market.QualificationsDemonstrable experience in a pre-sales capacity (whether as a Solutions Architect, Senior Technical Consultant, or dedicated Pre-Sales Specialist) within the Microsoft Dynamics/Power Platform ecosystem.Proven ability to lead technical discovery workshops and sessions, effectively uncovering and translating complex prospect requirements into compelling solution visions.Exceptional presentation and demonstration skills, with the ability to confidently create and deliver engaging, tailored D365 CE / Power Platform demonstrations that resonate with diverse audiences.Experience architecting solutions for, and contributing significantly to, the development of high-quality proposals and responses to formal solicitations (RFIs, RFPs, RFQs).Strong ability to articulate technical solution features in terms of clear business value and benefits, and effectively handle technical questions and objections from prospects.Solid commercial awareness, particularly when scoping solutions and contributing to proposal development during the sales cycle.Deep technical expertise and hands-on experience architecting solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (D365 CE), particularly Sales and Customer Service modules.Strong proficiency across the Microsoft Power Platform (Dataverse, Power Apps – Canvas & Model-driven, Power Automate).Solid understanding and practical experience with D365 CE configuration, customisation capabilities, security model, integration patterns, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices.Proven ability to architect robust, feasible, and secure integration solutions between D365 CE and other enterprise systems (leveraging APIs, Azure services, etc.
