As a leading not-for-profit housing provider, they're passionate about building inclusive, thriving communities where people feel secure, supported, and empowered.About the role:The Homelessness Coordinator, based in Rockhampton, plays a pivotal leadership role in overseeing the delivery of the homelessness program.
This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery through effective program development, case and workload allocation, and adherence to contractual and compliance requirements.The Coordinator works closely with key community stakeholders to build strong partnerships that enhance community impact, and collaborates with the team to understand the individual needs and goals of participants and their families.
They provide guidance in planning, accessing, and coordinating necessary supports and services, and contribute to the continuous improvement of interventions to ensure alignment with community needs.Additionally, the Coordinator supports staff through structured debriefing, mentoring, and performance development, including conducting learning reviews and facilitating professional growth.
Oversight of service agreements is also key, ensuring the team maintains a clear understanding of the scope and expected outcomes.
The successful candidate will also assist in the design and implementation of team activities and community events.Relocation assistance to Rockhampton may be available for the right candidate and will be negotiated upon offer.Mandatory Requirements:Completed Diploma in Social or Behavioural Sciences, Social Work, Community Services or Psychology (or related discipline).3 years relevant experience in a community sector leadership role, overseeing the line management of staff and community-related programs.Full COVID-19 VaccinationAbility to obtain a Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or exemption)Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption notice)What you will bring to the role:A passion and genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of Central Queenslanders.Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders.The ability to identify and embed solutions.Demonstrated experience working within a high-performance framework where you are accountable for KPIs on program delivery and outcomes, within a fast-paced solutions-focused environment.Effective time management and organisational skills.A strong communicator, able to quickly build rapport and influence across a diverse range of people.About Anglicare Central QLD:This truly local team of professionals has worked with people in Central Queensland for over 40 years to support them in living their best life.
